Our Mission

To unite Sri Lankan Tri services' graduates of International College of Defense Studies of National Defense University, People's Liberation Army, China in a lifelong fellowship of leadership, ethics, and service thus channeling shared training and experience into National development, regional stability, and an enduring friendship between Sri Lanka and the People's Republic of China.

Our Vision

To be the foremost bridge of military-academic exchange in South Asia — a respected community of strategic thinkers whose alumni network advances defense diplomacy, professional excellence, and mutual understanding for generations to come.

About the Association

A Fellowship Forged in Discipline, Sustained in Friendship

Founded by a cohort of Sri Lankan Military officers officially graduated from International College of Defense Studies of National Defense University, People's Liberation Army, China in 2015-2916 and inaugurated on 30th July 2020. The Association named Chinese National Defense University Alumni Association of Sri Lanka (CNDUAASL) has grown into a national network spanning the armed forces, public service, academia, and industry. We exist to keep the bonds formed in Beijing alive at home through mentorship, policy dialogue, and joint Sri Lanka–China initiatives.
